I was looking for warm (but not too hot) slippers for pure comfort. You are perfect. They're expensive, but I won't skimp on shoes or slippers. Feet can be ruined by cheap shoes. I live in South Florida but my feet get cold when the temp drops to 72 which my husband insists. What I like about these slippers: Size: I usually wear a size 8 (medium width) shoes. 38 in Glerups fits perfectly. I live in South Florida and these are my first pair of wool slippers. Wool is comfortable in both cold and hot weather. They're so comfortable I almost live in them and ended up buying two more pairs in different colors. Wool does not sting and is very soft. Warm but not hot.2. The design of the slippers makes them feel like they are holding my foot - I've tried many slippers and they are unique.3. Doesn't rub anywhere - I broke my toe as a kid and a poor fit results in burning throbbing and blisters. 4. The rubber outsole cushions a bit on my tile floor and it's nice to walk outside to the mailbox. Despite the manufacturer's warnings, they have good traction and don't slip on tile floors.
