My daughter is 7 years old, she wears size 6-7 perfectly. I bought her some tights at a retail store and gave her a size 4-6x because that's what her size chart recommended based on height and weight. They were a bit short but I was hesitant to buy the next size up which was a 7-10 because it seemed huge. When I found them in a size 5-8 I was very excited and thought they would fit my daughter perfectly! Unfortunately they fit the same as 4-6 from another tight fit. We're keeping her because she's only for dance practice and hopefully she'll go to her next size in a few months. Also, these tights are much thicker and feel less flimsy than other pairs we have! I just want to make it easier to find things that fit kids between sizes.
