My godson's Siberian Husky is an amazingly intelligent and outgoing companion. As long as there are other dogs in the family, she is the leader of the pack, to the exclusion of her masters, and that's the way it should be. While other dogs will happily eat their usual good kibble, our husky makes it clear that she is looking for, and maybe needs, more pure protein, as well as disliking the standard fare that she is happy with. She also cleverly chooses the ingredients she tries to add to spice up her dinner, leaving most of the dry stuff intact. She often eats it later when she gets hungry, we don't spoil her at all. However, in our opinion, she deserves to enjoy her food, so it was wonderful to find this product. It is important that it is crumbled enough that it can be completely mixed into their dry food. It's so packed with everything she craves and therefore probably needs that she'll gobble up her entire bowl, including kibble, as this uniquely appealing and easy-to-mix supplement clearly makes the whole meal absolutely delightful. You can use it as a topper but it makes me laugh because our husky would just eat it on top. point to be? It's such a choice and the texture is the best we've found, it crumbles so beautifully and blends in completely. The only problem, and that's the real problem, is that it's just too expensive to buy and include in your diet on a regular basis. If I can give her that I will, but you get what you pay for and this product is worth every penny.
