I agree with other reviewers: the cord is too short and the light is too dim. I didn't want a lot of light, but this light kit isn't even good for low light. The shapes of the stars are beautiful and a good size until you put them on. Because of the short wire and spacing between the stars you then have to stretch them out and in my case unplug everything and add an extension to fit the mantle. a bit for almost $20 and to fix a problem I would have to order another set. Even with two sets, you're paying close to $40 for dim lighting and a leash to hide after tucking one cord into another. It's almost a hit because the stars themselves are lovely, but I'd steer clear of it unless you have a specific space in mind and just want a touch of light.
