If you're looking for a case to protect your expensive APM headphones while traveling or in a backpack etc. look no further. That's the case you want and frankly the case Apple should have shipped with the MAX from the start. The price is just a little high but otherwise good value for what you get. One downside, albeit minor, is that there are no internal magnets that allow the APM to go into "deep sleep" mode without the lame chassis that comes from Apple. I've researched this issue and it turns out that all you need is a pair of neodymium magnets connected together and then velcroed into a case to drop between two earbuds to clip into to put it into "deep sleep” mode. So if you just want to buy some magnets and in this case snap them together and add Velcro, you can drop Apple's factory case entirely and put them into "deep sleep" mode. I'm sure something like this will be offered by a third party over time as it's a simple solution that seems easy and cheap to manufacture. Until then, if you're good at arts and crafts, just grab some magnets and do what I suggested above. Hooray Dobz.
