This was a replacement for one that had the non-USB end curling up and charging intermittently. I bought it before he died and now I will be more careful when charging my bluetooth headset. In fact, the problem was in the headset because I charged it at an angle. Do not do that. Yes it also works for charging Androids but not iPhones which need the smaller non-USB end, Mini I think. By the way, I ordered a Lightning charger for my iPhone, which I had to send back. Lightning is its own brand; it doesn't mean it charges fast, trust me. I know this has nothing to do with UE Boom or Android devices, but make sure you have an iPhone fast charger. My original is so short that I can hardly watch the vlogs because of it. I've been looking for a cable to charge the iPhone 4 quickly for a long time. No luck so far. Again, Lightning isn't about fast charging. Ouch! Thanks for listening. FYI, I can't use my laptop because I need to replace both knees and it hurts to carry my laptop around. I have to lie down with my legs and feet elevated all the time or my feet bleed and swell due to an autoimmune disease I live/suffer from. Take good care. Health! And fast chargers. lol.
