Review on πŸ‘  Whitmor 40 Pair Shoe Tower: 8 Tiers of Non-Slip Racks for Easy Organization by Linda Rodgers

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for high heels!

I was looking for a way to organize all my beautiful shoes and take up less space in my closet and this shoe rack is perfect for my needs. I can easily fit 5 pairs of heels/shoes on each shelf, for a total of eight. It was very easy to put together and I have it fully stocked (40 pairs of shoes) and is as strong as I need it to be. A few things to keep in mind if considering this: 1) I've found that flat shoes (e.g. ballet flats, lots of wedges or slick-soled flats) are a bit slippery for this, but I'm trying anyway - glue flower petals on it so that mine perfectly hold the bars of the shelf, but this should be considered depending on the type of shoes in your collection. 2) I love heels (higher is better in my opinion!) and if you have heels and wonder if they fit, they definitely will. Most of my heels are 3-4 inches but I have a few 4-5 inches and they fit great. It takes a few extra seconds to maneuver a pair you're shelving directly under a pair of heels (because the heel of the pair above is hanging under the bars), but that's really not a problem. 3) If you are a fan of ankle boots/boots/heels with very high and stiff ankle straps, I have found that they work best on the top shelf as there is no shelf above to limit the height of the shoes. (I'm not sure if that makes sense, but you should know that it will be impractical if most of your shoes are of this type. I have five of these pairs, so I can just put them on top. , but it would be painful if you tried to wear a lot of booties here.) Other than that, it's awesome. I'm so happy and my husband is so happy that all my shoes are off the closet floor! I only wish I had a 50 pair vertical tower closet instead because I filled it completely!
