This is an exact replacement for my wife's HP laptop. I accidentally closed it with a pen which corrupted the original screen and after that it just showed a white screen. The screen was well packaged in its original box and then boxed in a Revain box. Installation was easy and took very little time. I wouldn't say it's easy, but if you're careful and take the time to follow the instructions available online, you probably won't have any problems. The only tricky part is removing the plastic bezel from the monitor. I had no problems, but if the person took their time or acted too aggressively, I could see small clips breaking, or even the frame itself. Again, if you take your time you shouldn't have any problems. I suggest doing this on a table over a white sheet. The screws are very small, easy to drop and very hard to find on the floor (don't ask me how I know).
