I received the bar stools with natural wood top and antique black frame. I like that the whole frame is welded. I compared many chairs based on price, appearance and height. They are adjustable which is my preference. Most bar stools are too low for me. I wanted a stool with a black metal frame and wooden seat. There are many to choose from. I finally narrowed it down to two. This and one from Ashley. Ashley had a tubular frame. Mine is square and looks sturdier and bigger. The cost was about $60. each one is a really good price. The stools arrived well packaged and fully assembled. My only complaint is that one of the tops got caught in two different places when I rotated it to lift the seat. Once I got through the rough part of the "screw" it turned easily. The other stool didn't stick.
