Review on Alpinestars 25CIT14 10 Unisex Adult Buckle Strap by Jean Donjuan

No Tech10 straps?: Motorbike & Powersports

They don't fit my Tech10 boots, they are about 3mm wider than I need. They appear to have a stronger buckle interface. So I think I'll just swap out the only strap I replace and give the other two to whoever has boots they are actually made for. Then I just get the right buckle straps from a more reputable shop. I don't want to ride without a seat belt anymore, so don't wait for an exchange/refund. Update: More than just shaving off the straps to match the Tech10 boots. I had to grind and file the aluminum "hook" a bit and hit it with a hammer to flatten the curve a bit, but I got it working and now the buckle can lock it in place. Not pretty, but at least I can ride now. After all, Alpine Stars makes its products strong and there is still enough material in them so that they don't break. Update #2: It's been over a year and I've used all three straps and still can't find matching Tech10 2018+ buckle straps anywhere. Even Alpinestars has backlogs for them. It is quite disappointing that for such expensive boots, A★s cannot supply replacement parts for their product. If the shortage is due to high demand for lost strapping, then there is a design problem. I'm adding a star to my rating because now I have to re-order it. Would put 5 if seller added in description the specific years they are intended for.
