Bought this oil recently. Very nice, light oil with natural seed aroma. I like to use it directly on my face and neck, but I also mix it with water and use it as a toner. Helps my combination/oily skin. I read some reviews and noticed that many people think that grapefruit oil is an essential oil. This is NOT an essential oil, this is a COLD PRESSED CARRIER OIL - skin care oil. The essential oil is usually distilled from the leaves, bark, rind, and other aromatic parts of the plant. Essential oil cannot be applied directly to the skin, it needs to be diluted before application, it has a strong essential odor, so it is often used for aromatherapy. Carrier oil, on the other hand, is pressed from the fatty parts: seeds, nuts, kernels and is also known as base oil (skin care oil) or vegetable oil. The carrier oil is applied directly to the skin and in most cases has a light seed scent. This grapefruit oil also has a musty scent (not the main scent of grapefruit) because it is a useful carrier oil. This oil perfectly hydrates the skin, I love every drop of it.
