My son loves this backpack. He wants to take it with him everywhere. It is very soft yet durable. He has reflectors on his shoulders, so it's not easy to see him at night. The zipper is very secure and we had no problems with it. Love the fact that it has a clip that you can attach a leash to so the child can be independent but you know where it is. It will be very useful in amusement parks. My son loves the extra waist strap that keeps the pack secure and doesn't slip off his shoulders. It appears to be made from the type of neoprene that wetsuits are made from. That makes it nice if something spills on the bag, it won't disturb the contents of the backpack. There is a divider pocket inside, which is convenient for you to separate your belongings that you put in the bag. All in all we love it.
