Revainrating 4 out of 5

Be careful if you have periodontal problems or treatments.

I've been using this toothpaste for over a year now and I've always loved it. However due to a sinus allergy and infection I have major dental work, I lost some bones and removed old crowns, a few extractions etc. I'm not sure if it's a necessity or a mint but I have a strong reaction to this toothpaste after using it because I understand my gums are still healing and very sensitive. I had a bone graft and antibiotics on my lower jaw and a bridge on my upper jaw. It took me about a week to get rid of anything suspicious, but I stopped using toothpaste and I no longer had severe pain in my jaw, gums, and chin. I can only conclude that there is something in the toothpaste as my dentist said I should be beyond the sensitivity that is normal with this type of work. That's also the reason for the four stars, but I would give it five. I am just warning people that if you are treated by a dentist you may have a reaction. I'm just warning anyone considering buying one to think about their gum health. If you have a severe sinus allergy, you may feel pain and not necessarily think it's toothpaste because some of the sinuses are near the top bone of your mouth. Maybe talk to your dentist.

Pros
  • Fluoride free
Cons
  • Very expensive
