Didn't protect Samsung tablet - Broken screen

Received on September 1st and here is September 14th and I had to take my Samsung Galaxy tablet to get a brand new glass screen. The shop said that cover didn't protect it and it fell through the corner guard. I am extremely disappointed. I think I need to buy another one. What a waste of money
