Review on 🔊 Dual Electronics DLS574 4-Way Car Speakers: High Power 6x8 or 5x7 Inch with 160W and Balanced Dome Midrange by Alex May

I'm not sure if they would be perfect on their own, but when used with 6x9 or other speakers they reproduce frequencies perfectly. So I replaced the factory 4 inch speakers in our '85 sedan about 20 years ago. with expensive Alpines this only sounded marginally better than the Factor speakers. 15 years ago I put cheap 6x9s in the back deck and everything was fine until about a year ago the left front speaker broke and we only used the rear speakers. You can't expect good bass from any 4-inch speaker, and that's typical. I'm not sure if 4-way isn't too upscale. The main cone is more of a midrange driver, and three tweeters are redundant in my opinion but look cool. The photo shown is not this small round speaker. The magnet is a nice 3" diameter and sits about 1/2" lower than the old Alpines. If they cost more than $30 I would give them four stars but for $20 it's a good buy.
