I love baking and handicrafts. I also love collecting treat bags - one aspect of gift bags that I hate is the tying of clear bags (everything from candy to cookies to confetti) with tie strings. The tape is ok, it just takes time. Also, it's just a hassle to seal the bags (with glue or staples) and stick lids/labels on them. I finally decided to invest in a heat sealer. I honestly don't know why it took me so long. I love this thing, it works like a charm and is so easy to use. I literally just plug it in, choose a setting, test the packaging, and then proceed to seal. - If you are an artisan/baker and love to make treats for friends, colleagues or parties, this is a great tool to have in your arsenal. It's a vacation saving when I collect bags for my daughter's daycare. So far I've used it to make treat bags with candy, personalized confetti, homemade chocolates and cookies, and I have other plans for the upcoming holiday season.
