It inevitably pulls away from the end of the stick when I pull it out of the tube (no matter how I twist/rotate/manipulate it) so I have to wipe the excess off the edge of the tube. However, it applies quite well and doesn't give me spider leg lashes or stick to my lashes/eyes. It really makes my eyes pop - the wand separates my lashes well and they look amazing when the mascara is applied. This mascara absolutely does not flake or smear, which is very important to me, and my lashes still look great at the end of the day - no fading or fading throughout the day of wear. The mascara can be easily removed with minimal pressure using make-up removal wipes - the blackness is completely gone quickly and easily.
