Ideal for intended use
I bought these as an add-on to my LED strip power supply. After running the wiring through the wall, I found that the power supply was no longer able to reach the nearest outlet. Once I placed one of these between the power supply and the lighting driver I had more than enough wire to get to the outlet and the LEDs worked great. As an added security measure to prevent separation in the wall, I wrapped them in some tape to hold them together.
