I like rechargeable flashlights because they pay for themselves pretty quickly. I've been using it for several days without charging. I let them run 4-6 hours in the evening. The only thing I don't like is the "wick" - a two-dimensional piece of plastic that is threaded on a cross wire. My other flashlights have a wick shaped plastic cap. However, when they work, it is not noticeable. It looks realistic and I don't have to worry about the dog knocking over a real candle or forgetting to blow it out before bed. I use the timer function so I don't have to remember to turn it off to save battery. In general, I think this is a much better option than battery powered candles.
