Hard to Put Together, Not Properly Balanced

It was a huge pain to put together. The straps the slats are on, isn't long enough, so I had to go back and redo it, and it now looks like it is missing a slat (I followed the instructions exactly, and there was NO way it would fit).Now it's together and looks okay, but it's not balanced, so it leans back, and if you sit in it you have to lean back and cannot sit in the more upright position if you want your back to connect with the lounger.Was SO excited to get this, but it was kind of a disappointment.of course, my wood worker husband did lots of eye rolling at the poor design, so that was fun.

The chaise lounge may not be suitable for people who require a more stable seating surface, as the rocking motion can be unsettling
