I ordered these brushes to clean tile grout so I wanted very stiff bristles. However, do not buy them if you intend to use them to brush your teeth. First, they are not individually wrapped and come in an unsealed box with no protective packaging - they are not hygienic. Second, the bristles are much larger and longer than a standard toothbrush, making them cumbersome and ineffective. Finally, the bristles are very stiff - great for cleaning up seams, but not recommended for dental and gum health.
