Ideal for illuminating sidewalks at night without bugs
I used them to illuminate sidewalks in front of outbuildings at night in West Texas where moonless nights are typically pitch black. The yellow light is pleasant and does not attract insects. I install strips in 10 foot sections of J-strips (which are used to install drywall) that direct 100% of the light out and down, meeting the night time lighting needs in that area. The strips adhere well to a smooth galvanized surface. And at 8 watts per 10-foot section, they cost next to nothing.
