You forgot to put a screw cap on it
When it arrived via Amazon Prime it didn't have a screw cap. it was only sealed with paper taped to the lip, which had to be supported by a screw cap. Luckily the seal was strong enough not to leak in transit and a standard pool chlorine screw cap will fit.
