The wood shown in the photos is a completely different shade than what I received. I have smoke gray wood. It is presented in a richer warm brown which I have matched to my table. Disappointing. UPDATE: Decided to wrap the top in contact paper to match my coffee table. The build was fine for a $40 end table. However, the "legs" were scratched and dirty, and the table didn't fit under my sofa. So if I used that to slide under the sofa I couldn't. I wouldn't buy it again. I'm just not going back because 1) I need it right now and 2) I'm worried about going back to Revain too much.
