This is a really great scratching post but with some technical issues. My cats still love playing on it all day long though. The technical issues are that the pair of posts was difficult to screw in under the lower perch and cat tube. outs is supported by five separate parts. Every time you screw something in, it unscrews itself from the other part it was attached to. For the price, I think the design should have been better. It could easily be all in one piece in this section to avoid this mess. In addition, the structure is extremely comfortable and durable. The faux fur cover is a nice update to the typical rough carpet that most scratching posts use. It looks great in my room and is cuddly for kitties due to its softness. Sisal scratching posts work very well and the kittens have almost completely given up their old cardboard claws. They really like it and despite the issues it's durable enough to withstand rough play. I might try adding some Gorilla Glue or E-6000 Industrial Glue to the unstable joints for my own sanity as it bothers me when they tremble. But my cats have jumped higher and are doing fine so far and I've had it for a few months now. So I'm not worried. Overall, this is a very attractive and functional garden tree that my cats love. I chose this after searching all over Amazon and many other websites because I don't have enough space and in terms of space and price this offers the best value for money by putting something fun in every nook and cranny squeeze every crack without being lost gaps in space. And in life everything was exactly as in the picture. It did not disappoint and I expect the kittens and I to enjoy it for many years to come.
