I ordered this product because the ingredient list didn't seem problematic as it didn't contain any common allergens or even mention 'fragrance'. I smelled lavender distinctly when I opened it so I emailed the company and found that they add lavender essential oil but for some reason don't list it. must know before buying. I tried it once to see if there were any immediate side effects (since essential oils in general tend to cause reactions in my skin) and found that my skin didn't react negatively to it, at least not directly. Sense, BUT I didn't find it very comfortable and sticky texture. I don't have laugh lines yet, but when I smiled in them I could feel where my skin was shrinking and getting clammy. However, this can only be a personal thing and for someone else the texture may not seem disturbing. Having said that, I have to say that because of the lavender, it's even more important to use sunscreen as well.
