In the past I have used two different Gigi wax warmers with two different types of wax. The first heater only had one switch and the wax got very hot. I used the wax that came with the heating pad. The second heating pad I received was the Gigi Mini Honey Heating Pad. I bought honey wax to go with it. None of these products have worked for me. The first wax was too difficult to use because I had to cool it on a stick before applying it to my face. As a result, I removed the skin above the lip right off the face. Honey wax did not remove hair. I chose Parisa hot wax and see what happens. I ended up trying to play around with the strips. It worked great. He removed both the soft and the hard hair. I didn't like heating a tiny container of wax on the stove, that was the only way to do it. The lack of something to keep the wax at the right temperature made things a little more difficult. I see that I need to buy a wax warmer, like candle warmers from the past, to keep the wax at the right temperature. But it's very nice to be able to do facial hair removal yourself and not have to pay my beautician to do it.
