The pressure from hugging and squeezing is very calming for my child. The positive reviews were the reason I bought this item. However, this vest does not exert deep pressure. It's literally a shirt. A complete waste of money. Stroke of luck. found that a ballet leotard purchased from Target exerted more pressure. However, it is difficult to get a child to wear a bathing suit to school all day.
