I had to believe other reviews but we needed black jeans. You have an oddly high, narrow waist. It's like they took regular skinny jeans and added a slim 2 inch waist to them. My son is underweight and has a tight waist. The length of the legs is great, but the bum is low (because there's 2 inches more in the waist) and large pockets on the back of the hips reach almost to the knees. In the future I will look to the more expensive ones I bought at Target or Gap Outlet for stretchy comfortable kids jeans.
