I use this cooling pad every day with my gaming and work laptop. It is USB powered and has 6 huge fans to keep the laptop as cool as possible while gaming. The LED lights are a nice touch, letting you know the mat is on and giving it an overall nice aesthetic. 3 fans can be turned on and off at will. There are 2 pass-through USB ports on the back next to the power button, which is handy as it occupies one of your laptop's USB ports. (One of the USB ports is used to connect the tablet to a laptop, while one is left for an additional device.) There are stand legs that slide out to raise it at different angles depending on the work surface. They are very durable and not flimsy at all. There's also a slide-out slot for your phone, which is a great feature. The fans are pretty quiet (much quieter than my laptop). I can hear sound from the computer's speakers with no problems. Overall I would recommend this cooling pad to anyone looking for a cost effective option. i love my purchase
