These are great splitters that work as they should. Celebration. While I agree they are tight, I think that's a positive thing. This means that the connection must be good and strong. I had no trouble inserting and removing the male ends of the headphones from the female ends of this product. One thing I really like about them and the reason I bought them is because of the design they should be easy to use with things like a phone in a case. I had another splitter which they replaced and I couldn't fully insert it without removing the phone from the case. There are no problems with this. I am very happy with my purchase.
