This adapter works in the sense that you can attach Canon lenses four-thirds of the way to the camera and shoot stills/ videos. The main reason I bought this adapter was to connect Canon macros to my Lumix GH5 for video recording. However, when used with some Canon macro lenses at smaller apertures, this adapter produces horrible image artifacts, such as blurring. B. a greenish stray light in the form of the aperture ring of the lens (see picture). Should it be damage to the optics or optical coatings? But it ruins any smaller aperture shots with those macro lenses. I have contacted Fotodiox and if they don't have a solution I will go back and buy more expensive Metabones.
