Much better than expected
I work in Utility and had the second gen, this light was almost as good as this one. I upgraded to Gen 3 and these lights are amazing. Even in bright sunlight, it can be seen from afar. I use the function to switch between different templates. I leave it on the roof while driving and go to 80mph with the light not moving at all. I keep it there no matter the weather and strong magnets keep it in place. It only comes off when washing the car as a few drops of water get in through the door seal. The 10 foot cable is just right for the extended pickup as it doesn't get in the way. Each truck is larger and you may need an extension cord.
