Perfect Electronics

As there were no reviews on this model from Revain I took a chance but I went with my intuition and it really is a great product. 128GB is still stunning as it's compressed into this tiny card, but read and write speeds are just as advertised, if not faster in certain spots. I was also considering a San Disk Extreme 128GB SD model, but I already have an older 8GB model that I had to reformat for no reason, so I didn't want to risk it again. (Thank goodness it's just my DSLR SD card that already had all of its photos in Lightroom.) I have this card for use with my MacBook Pro and will always keep the card in the SD slot. I needed extra space on my computer for the Native Instruments Komplete 8 package (75-80 GB) because the data was being written to my internal drive, but it was constantly taking up too much space. I didn't want to carry around an external hard drive all the time as I like to work in the living room, in my bed and sometimes even at friends' house. So this card was perfect as it allowed me to store all readable data and still behave like an internal SATA drive as it barely protrudes from the MacBook Pro. The read speed is amazing, I've noticed a big improvement since having data on the internal SATA 7200rpm and downloading samples on Kontact and Massive is noticeably faster. I've only had it for 3 days at the moment, but it's definitely an impressive SD card and I give Patriot credit for it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone having a similar situation or shooting a lot of videos with a DSLR.
