So I ordered a size up not knowing if they needed a toddler, infant or kids. But the lining of the boot was very soft and warm. I ran my hand over it and it looks like a good job has been done to keep it from tearing too quickly. The soles have a really good profile so they shouldn't slip that easily on ice or snow.
