So far, so good. No rust yet

After reading some reviews I am concerned about rust. It seems to be more knives than other items. Interestingly, I initially buy knives, forks, and teaspoons separately because I haven't seen the set (which is $20 cheaper in the set). So I sent my individual boxes back and ordered a set. Individual knives came in their own box with the Artaste logo on the handle. And I'm pretty sure they were stamped 18/10 too. But the knives that came with this set don't have the logo on the handle nor the 18/10 stamp. Hm? So I was really worried at the time. Did I get crappy knives by saving on a set instead of buying them individually? I return to the reviews of the knives themselves. Pretty good, few complaints about rust. I look at kit reviews and many many other rust complaints. WTH! That's why I wash them in the dishwasher a lot because if they get rusty I want my money back. And the return window is short. lol No rust on this one so far in a month. That doesn't mean they won't, but so far so good. I will definitely update if rust or pitting occurs. Now the quality and weight of this cutlery is good. It is very shiny and stays shiny even after washing in the dishwasher. (Note that I live alone so they don't wear out much. Children don't throw them away or aren't often handled/used abnormally). They occasionally have water stains and fingerprints. But a little rub and it's all gone. All in all, as long as they don't start to rust I think this is a fantastic set that will last. They look really cool and I hope they stay that way! This is my first real set. I've been using old mismatched cutlery for 20 years. I did a lot of research and read so many reviews on so many different ones. I knew I wanted 18/10 and they were beautiful and very affordable. They were actually half the price, if not more, than the Liberty set, which I was willing to spend a lot of money on since the Liberty is made in the USA. But they looked the same and were 18/10 like the Liberty, so I went with a cheap Chinese product. *sigh* I hope I don't regret it!
