A family member has been diagnosed with Raynaud's disease, a circulatory disorder in the hands where the capillaries narrow in response to cold and the fingers turn white. These gloves/mittens provide protection from the cold and also have a 'pocket' or pocket where you can slip a hand warmer to keep your fingers warm. The family member I bought these for has used them with heating pads and reports that they are easy to use with packs and work great to keep his fingers warm and functional. I couldn't have expected a better result. On the practical side, the gloves were exactly as pictured and well made. . The delivery was super fast. I couldn't be happier with the purchase.
