So glad I got the XS the regular would have been too big for me. I have a small torso, heavier and hippie at the bottom. The strap is relatively thin, soft, stretchy, and adjustable enough to stretch across my hips or chest if needed, but also very snug and comfortable around my waist if I prefer. Nice low profile buckle, not bulky like buckles commonly found on fanny packs. Haven't tried it yet but bought this for my trips to Southeast Asia and India this winter and so far it seems very flat and good quality and I love that the logo isn't so obnoxious everywhere . I'm glad I chose this one over many other highly rated ones on Amazon that I've considered. The only thing is, I wish it came with some of the RFID pouches that some others have, but others don't seem to have RFID built directly into the strap itself, which seems more important. So showing it both under and over my top, which is quite form fitting, doesn't really hide the fact that I'm wearing it, but with a looser top it should be invisible. A few months after I'm back from my trip I'll upgrade another star and see how it holds up.
