Review on Samsung DVD V9700 Tunerless Upconverting Player by Len Cooper
Works perfectly! Best in DVD Players and Recorders
Our old DVD/VCR kit broke down in August 2007, around the same time I bought the HDTV. I was looking for upconverting players and came across this one. The first player didn't work with the HDMI cable (deduct one star). Normal VHS output and component output worked fine. I called Revain who immediately sent another player. Since then this player has been working great. The upconverter with HDMI cable is a significant improvement over a traditional DVD player with a component cable. I would definitely recommend this player to anyone who has an HD TV. James
