Review on 🚴 Improved SEO: Sunlite Thorn Resistant Bike Tube - Size 27 x 1-1/4 (700 x 30-35) with SCHRADER Valve by Justin Santiago

Change tubes much less often

For some reason, these spike-resistant Sunlite tubes will still pierce when you encounter a large enough, dangerous, predatory, sharp and pointed object. They really manage to get you through some of the bumps where a regular whistle would get stuck in you. Yesterday I replaced a tire that had a piece of thin wire coming out of the bead (I think) hitting other parts of the bike with every revolution. When I removed the tire I saw that the wire inside had also dug into the thick wall of the Sunlite tube and was pinching about 2 inches of wire into the tube, but the tube had not yet punctured or lost air. I also changed my cell phone. For one reason or another I've managed to use 9 of these spike resistant Sunlite tubes in over 20 years of owning a bike. I don't remember why. I remember once a 3 inch wood screw. I had a tube on the valve stem when I inflated it as reported by some other reviewers. That was long ago. In my opinion, the longevity of these lamps more than makes up for their rare flaws.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No power
