Love the look of this tank. When the water is clear it's so beautiful. However, I had some problems with the filter function in the tank. The rocks that came with the tank were large (I assume to allow water to get into the filter at the bottom of the tank). My fish got stuck in the rocks and died. The instructions state that these types of stones are essential for filtering, but I found them very difficult to keep clean. I cleaned the tank and found that there was too much fish food and debris stuck in the rocks at the bottom of the tank. and causes water problems. I've never used a tank with this filter before, so I'm not sure it's working properly given how dirty the tank has gotten after a short period of time. dark brown water. The filter in this tank is not really capable of removing tannins like other filters. This filter is not a standard size and many other filter products are not compatible. I had to put another filter in a very awkward spot to remove the color from the water. If you are buying this aquarium, you should know that how you set it up is very important. I didn't have good filtration as I set it up and the water became toxic. It's also a bit of a hassle to put your hand in the tank. The unique design can make it difficult to find other compatible products. Despite all the negative aspects, I still really like this tank because of its unique design. A simpler aquarium setup looks really great in this aquarium and works great. tldr; Don't use driftwood and the tank will look great.
