I pulled these too tight when I first got them and got sores on the top of my feet. It's hard for me to feel the pressure because of my diabetic feet. I like them a lot now that I've got it right. Adjust them so they are just tight enough to keep your foot from wiggling around in the shoe and you'll be very happy with both the fit and the convenience. Don't cut off the excess lace until you're sure you have a good fit.
