Review on 💦 GPM 1.8 Chrome Waterpik Shower Head TRS-523E with Power Spray featuring 5 Modes by Tara Gardner

This shower head offers a very pleasant shower. I ordered a chrome block with blue injector rings (as in the photo), received a chrome block but with gray injector rings? Either the images change, or the color of the nozzle ring is variable and unpredictable. If I got the shower head pictured (chrome with blue heads) I would probably rate it 5 stars. As with any show head, it all depends on your tub's water pressure and flow rate, as well as individual preferences. With multifunctional shower heads, I've always found that some functions work well and others don't. This shower head is no exception as two of its functions work very well while the other two are almost useless. good rinsing power with very moderate water flow 2) The internal set of three jets also provides a very effective pulsating "massage" shower that also keeps its shape well and has enough power to be effective with moderate water flow without causing irritation. 3) The "mist" spray simulated by the teardrop-shaped nozzles in the middle ring is too fine to be used with moderate water flow. Very small droplets cool very quickly and form a somewhat cold shower, and a fine, widely scattered mist has very weak flushing power. With a moderate jet of water, it can even temporarily blind you if it's aimed at your face, as the droplets are too small for your eye to see and are therefore close together. While other users with very low water pressure may find it more appealing, the cooling mist can be refreshing as a poolside rinse on a hot summer day.4) The combined rain and massage setting requires much more water flow to be useful. At moderate flow, the pulse is too weak to have any effect and this reduces the 'regen' function to less than optimal. If you tend to turn the taps on more than halfway and don't worry about consumption, this will surely be a rich experience. 5) I didn't notice any significant difference between fast and slow "massage" functions. I suspect that individual water pressure and flow rate will have a significant impact on choosing the preferred setting. Overall I am very happy with the Waterpik TRS-529, it offers a very comfortable and efficient showering experience. I would buy it again and also recommend it to a friend. ThuS.03/15/15
