The size corresponds to the size of the boy
It is 100% cotton but thin soft cotton. You are the size of a boy. I compared them to another brand. Just for reference, I tried it on at 5'1 and put on the XS-Small and the size 9-10 fit me except the length was too short. The white shirt is see through which is normal for a thin white shirt. It won't bother a boy, but it may bother a girl. These are great shirts for the price!
