Read the description of the frame VERY carefully

Let me first say that the seller had until Sunday and I received it on Thursday for which I was very grateful because I really liked it wanted to finish adding new works to my collection. Master bathroom and this frame was the last thing needed to frame the beautiful Ruth Thompson Phoenix print so I was excited to get it and really glad I got it sooner. Now for the not so good part. When I pay $27 for a picture frame I expect it to have glass but this one doesn't, I was so blown away by the weathered gray wood it came in the size I wanted and I didn't waste time with it Read . The fine print below saying "Plexiglas" is good quality Plexiglas. Yes, it looks like glass, yes, but do I think a frame without glass should be $27? No, I do not know. Before the plague hit us I bought ALL my frames from Hobby Lobby and either waited a week at 50% off or used a 40% off coupon so I guess I'm a little spoiled AND have high hopes for my frames. because I've never bought a $27 "nice" frame at the Hobby Lobby that didn't have glass in it. Secondly, not very well, the frame itself doesn't look very natural, it looks more like a manufactured "weathered rustic" than a true rustic, and again my basis of comparison is the weathered gray rustic frames I've seen there in the past Bought but they don't seem to be wearing anymore which is what prompted me to buy these. Eventually my Ruth Thompson print was purchased by the Ruth Thompson Gallery so each print was expensively frosted not only with the print and mat but also with a thick cardboard backing. Unfortunately it was TOO thick with the print, mat and backing to fit in the frame so the tabs held everything securely in place. I could stop right there and wrap it up and ship it back, I wanted to, but I didn't, so I used strong tape to tape the back of the frame to the frame itself to keep everything securely in place. If it was a thin photo/print with a thin mount this would work fine, but in my case I had to do a lot to make it work. Does it look good on my bathroom wall? Yes. Would I buy another one or would I recommend you to buy one? no
