Review on πŸ› TubRing: The Ultimate Tub Drain Protector Hair Catcher/Strainer/Snare in Grey - Regular Size by Justin Miller

Much less useful than expected

I really loved this bathtub ring. We have a foot drain in the shower that often gets clogged because of my long, thick hair. We decided to try this product as the concept sounded like it would work and it seemed like it drained quickly to avoid soap scum. However, this product is really bad at catching hair. Maybe the material is too soft, the slits too wide or the ring too big, but the hair fits under the ring easily. Anyhow, I think it actually made things worse because instead of stopping all the strands from falling out, it would only catch a few or the end of a few, so if you're about to remove them, have Her coarse hair half left out. Drain, halfway on the ring/drain, and it needs to be pulled out of the drain. Even though I cleaned it often (every 1-2 showers) it is sure that after a couple of weeks the drain gets clogged and the water drains slower and I have to squirm the drain. All in all a big disappointment. I threw it away and got a different style.
