Review on 🧩 Exploring the Alphabet: Melissa & Doug See Inside Puzzle Unveils Letter-Learning Fun! by Arun Siddiqui

Funny, but some pictures are funny

My 3 year old daughter loves this puzzle! At first she only knew a few letters, but we do it together once a week (while her older brother does gymnastics) and now she knows almost all the letters! I really wish they had chosen different images for some of the emails. She says I'm a bug to an insect. It would be better to use ice instead. The D for a duck looks like a white swan, so it's a bit confusing. And why on earth did they use Q for quail and not queens? My 3 year old doesn't know what a quail is! And for X they obviously don't have many word options but my daughter says it's a hand and doesn't seem to realize it's an x-ray of a hand. So there's room for improvement, but overall this has been a useful learning tool for us.

Pros
  • EASY PUZZLE: This wooden puzzle consists of 26 letter parts from A to Z with handy pins, each with a picture.
Cons
  • Hard to say
