I don't usually write reviews, but I'll make an exception for that. First of all, I'm a dude, a dude, a dude, a dude. I have a beard (actually it's just a lightly trimmed stubble). My skin may be complicated, so some parts of my face (including most of my head since I shave my head) get very dry. The rest is normal to slightly oily. I started using this scrub about a week ago. First, it smells good, doesn't overwhelm and doesn't leave an odor behind. It took a little getting used to using it. You pick up the swab and apply water. It's very difficult to start and I was afraid of damaging the skin. If you work a little with your hands you will get a nice lather with a slight peeling undertone. Now I apply this product all over my head - face, beard, neck, head (parts with and without hair) and give myself a good massage with it. Let me tell you my skin is now as soft as a baby's bottom and seems to have a little more clarity and shine. Dry, flaky skin is gone and my face looks younger overall. I got compliments from several friends. So I'm very happy. The bottom line for other men is great. It also helps with shaving and ingrown hairs. Don't be afraid to use it.
