Normally, the exposure of PCBs with positive photoresist (e.g. manufactured by MG Chemicals or GC) with a 15W fluorescent lamp takes 10-15 minutes according to the manufacturer's recommendations, but the longer the exposure time, the more it seems there are more errors, so I finally decided to try a near ultraviolet light source instead, since that's supposed to be the part of the spectrum that the positive photoresist is sensitive to. I created a test board where I exposed consecutive 1" strips for 2 minutes (10 minutes total) and the last strip - which was only exposed for 2 minutes - came out perfect! It only took about a minute to develop in 1.5% NaOH solution and the plate was etched. pure in 1 part hydrochloric acid to 2 parts 3% hydrogen peroxide typically Please note that UV LEDs generally don't have long lifespans so don't expect them to run 24/7 for very long panels, SLA resin curing and the like should last indefinitely.
