I use this joystick for elite threats and it's safe to say it's a great mid-range choice for space sims. This stick has a two-stage trigger. I personally don't use the second stage and just leave the first stage tied to the main fire. Pros: - Protective cover of the secondary fire button. - Backlit buttons and display for visibility when gaming in the dark. many control buttons. - Rudder lock for pitch and roll only (useful for players with rudder pedals) - The display can show the time, which button or axis is used and which profile is loaded from the software. - Multiple axis including slider and wheel. I use two axis of rotation for thrusters. Cons: - No non-slip or grippy parts where you hold and squeeze the throttle - Throttle is stiff. I would recommend changing the lube. For individual commands, you need to type different keys on the keyboard or gamepad for multiple modes. If you only use one mode, you can just use the flash drive without binding buttons in the software. I recommend binding multiple keys at once so you don't have to worry about fiddling with other controls while typing. Many Thanks.
